Hello, I’m Silvy Deuchar – an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and one of the partners here at the practice. I originally trained as an adult nurse (BSc Adult Nursing) and later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Practice, which allows me to assess and diagnose patients after a full comprehensive examination, and manage a wide range of health conditions and acute problems independently.
I have a particular interest in diabetes, lifestyle medicine and mental health and I’m really passionate about helping people take small, meaningful steps toward better health and wellbeing. My approach is friendly, supportive, and focused on what works best for you as an individual.
Outside of work, I’m also a busy mum of three wonderful children, so I understand the challenges of balancing family life and health – and I always try to bring that empathy into my care. Whether you’re managing a long-term condition or just needing a bit of advice and reassurance, I’m here to help.
