I’m Dr. Colette Williams – one of the GP partners at the practice. I studied at the University of St. Andrews and University of Manchester. I’m a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). I also have additional qualifications in women’s health (DRCOG) which is a particular interest of mine, and hold certificates in insertion and removal of IUCDs and Subdermal contraceptive implants.
I also hold a certificate in the management of drug misuse, which helps me support a wide range of patient needs. I really enjoy building long-term, supportive relationships with my patients.
Alongside my clinical work, I’m a Foundation Year 2 (FY2) training supervisor and a PBSGL (Practice-Based Small Group Learning) facilitator, which means I also get to support the development of other healthcare professionals.
As a mum of four, I know how busy and demanding life can be. I always aim to provide care that is compassionate, understanding and personal.
